My budget is $6,000 for the diamond. I want a round cut diamond that will be set on a solitaire setting. Obviously the more carats the better but I want the diamond that looks the best to the naked eye (don’t want a faint of yellow or any visible inclusions to the naked eye).
Here is a diamond I love for you:
It’s bright, eye-clean, and a great value. What do you think?
Thanks Mike! It looks nice. A little concerned with the color as I was advised not to go above an “H”.
As we say in our color post, J+ is fine for a solitaire:

If there is room in the budget, I like to go up to I, just to be sure. I would not worry about the color at all. Perhaps you saw some illegitimately certified diamonds (like EGL)? In that case, their I color is really KLM color.
