I was hoping to get a recommendation on a diamond. I’m planning to purchase the diamond and engagement ring tomorrow and would like to get a sanity check from you.
The ring will be item: https://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/contemporary-rings/ring/item_500-7619.asp?a_aid=dmnd1357
I’ve narrowed the diamond search down to these three choices:
https://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/I-VS2-Premium-Cut-Round-Diamond-1314155.asp?a_aid=dmnd1357
https://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/I-VS1-Ideal-Cut-Round-Diamond-1329613.asp?a_aid=dmnd1357
and

Since the ring is fairly unique and allows visibility of the sides of the diamond, I thought it might be important to focus slightly more on clarity and color. But I’ve mainly been trying to follow the advice in your articles.
Thanks a million by the way, your site is definitely the best on the internet for rookie diamond buying. It’s been an invaluable resource.
And thanks for looking at these diamonds. I’m not committed to those, however, so if you run across any that are similar from James Allen, I would like to know. But I’m going to make the purchase Tuesday night, so I need to review quickly.
I like this stone the best out of those three:

But more for reasons of cut quality than for reasons of color/clarity.
Good luck!
Thanks for your help. I purchased the diamond you recommended and the ring I mentioned in my first email. I’m sure it will look great!
