I am looking for a Princess cut for a platinum setting under $2000 (not including setting). The most important feature is the fire and clarity. I can’t handle any tint of yellow either, pet peeve.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.
P.S. I have been looking on JA and BN
These stones are about as perfect as you can get in terms of cut:

Let me know what you think!
Thanks for the quick response. I like the first one, just wondering if the hair line on the left side of the table would be visible? The other worry I have is, will the color (H) be noticeable in a Platinum setting. I want it to white as possible to the eye.

I was looking at this diamond, hows this look to you?

97.5% sure than hairline is a piece of dust on top of the stone. H will look totally white. I wouldn’t say “as white as possible” because that’s not true – a D will look whiter. But an H will not look yellowish at all, just not as white as a D.

This is a fantastic stone!
Thanks for all your help, I ordered a ring from JA and they had an issue while making the ring, they chipped the diamond while setting the stone. So now I am back looking and was wondering if you could make a couple recommendations. I would like to spend $1250 – $1500, but would go up to $2000 for the diamond if it was that nice, not including the setting. Princess cut set in 3.3mm Cross Prong Platinum Solitaire Ring Setting
Sorry to hear this! I still really like this one:

I do really love that diamond! If i decided to keep it in the $1250-$1500 range, what would you recommend?
