I am hoping to make a purchase soon and wanted a second opinion on the diamonds I am interested in. My price range is around $2,500 total for the diamond and setting but I am willing to go a little higher. I am seeking a nice princess cut in roughly the .50 to .75 carat range. I am looking at a white gold or platinum setting in the $445-$625 price range. Quality is the most important to me for the diamond, not necessarily the size. I would like something that is nearly flawless and with good proportions.
Setting I am now thinking of:

Once again I am open to other suggestions or opinions if you are able to find better options.
Thanks a ton!
You made some pretty good choices. This is the way to go:
What do you think?
Thank you for your response! Yeah I do like that diamond as well, I would say that it was my second top choice. May I ask what makes it a better choice than the .78 carat I listed as my top pick?
Thanks again!
You could drop to I color on princess cuts, but I prefer to recommend H if its well within the budget. I’d take that over that I color.
Alright, well thank you for your help! I will probably go with that one then. I appreciate the support you guys provide and all of the information your website has. It makes picking out a nice diamond and ring a TON easier and helps save a lot of money when doing so. Take care!
Thanks for the kind words. Please let me know how it looks when it arrives.
