James Allen currently has a sale on settings so I’m looking to get a .50-.60 round diamond with True Heart mark in a halo setting for anywhere between $1500-$2000 for the diamond.
I’ve included two diamonds I’ve identified but would really like some help in finding an eye clean SI one. The setting I’m interested in is also below. I am also open to your recommendations as well
The issue with the 0.50 carat is that it’s not eye-clean. Also, medium fluorescence on G+ grades can cause a hazy look. That’s why I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this one.

If you want to stick with True Hearts stones, the F color 0.54 carat is perfect. It has fantastic overall specs. I checked and didn’t find any better option at the moment. So if you like this one, go for it!

One more diamond to consider. Unfortunately, the first diamond that you said was perfect was sold. I’m wondering since the setting I’m getting is a halo setting and my fiance is browned skin that the I color in this diamond wouldn’t be noticeable once placed in the setting.
I’m afraid that the I SI2 is not eye-clean and the inclusion on the 0.62 carat stone might also be noticeable.
The I color grade is slightly stretching the colorless effect. But since your girlfriend is browned skinned I’d go for it. My favorite is the I color VS2 0.45 carat. I checked and didn’t find a better option at the moment.
