Hi,
I’m looking to get an engagement ring from James Allen but I’m really unsure of what diamond to get for the ring. The setting I’m looking at is as below:
14K ROSE GOLD 2MM COMFORT FIT SOLITAIRE ENGAGEMENT RING (SIX PRONG)
I think the round cut is the best way to go, but as for the diamond itself, I can’t quite figure out what is best. My budget for the ring is AUD3,000. Any help would be much appreciated. I want to make this as perfect as I can for my girlfriend.

The setting you picked is beautiful, I like it a lot! For the center stone, I’d go with a J color diamond that is eye-clean (I always search in the SI-IF range and pick the first/best eye-clean diamond I find). Also, Excellent/Ideal cut is the way to go. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/cuts/
