I’m looking to get the brightest and biggest engagement ring I can for a budget of 4,000-4,500$. I know there are many specs of the diamond that can be bought towards the lower end and have the same visuals as a higher spec so it’s all just so much to figure out! I’m hoping you guys can provide me an excellent build and possibly even save some money!

For a pave setting like the one you sent me, I’d recommend an I-color center diamond that is eye-clean. I always search for the best priced/largest eye-clean options in the SI-IF clarity range – sometimes I end up recommending an eye-clean SI stone, sometimes a VS or VVS because there was nothing lower that would look good. There is no rule.
