I am interested in an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I enjoyed your site immensely and found it very helpful! However, I wanted your personal recommendation if you are willing to give it.
I am looking for an engagement ring with the following characteristics:
14K or 18K rose gold halo setting
cushion diamond
eye-clean, but no specific color or clarity
Largest carat I can get for around $4000, though if it is not going to be a noticeable difference, I would rather not spend more,

I noticed that you sent me three that are all about 0.1 carats apart in size. Is there a noticeable difference in size between a .91 carat and a 1.01 carat? How about between the .91 and the 1.11?

I sent you three diamonds so you’d have some options to choose from, but generally, the difference in size would not be visible. Maybe between the 0.9 and the 1.11ct, but you’d have to put them, unmounted, side by side.
