I picked out a ring, I need to find a diamond with fire and brilliance. This is what I found so far:

My budget is up to about $2,500 or so.
I like that setting. The combination of yellow and white gold is beautiful. However, because it has white gold on the top of the band, I wouldn’t go as low in color for the diamond. I’d keep it on J+, maybe K if it’s a really nice diamond.
Moreover, the L diamond you found is brownish which I don’t think you’d like.

It’s a K color but it’s fantastically cut. And even though there is still room in your budget, the size difference between slightly larger diamonds (0.83ct) and the one I recommended isn’t big, but the price is almost $500 more.
