Hello,
I’ve been looking at diamonds on Blue Nile’s site and have selected a few options. Because it is online, and I’m not a jeweler, I just don’t know if the diamond will look as I expect once I order it.
Blue Nile LD10315092
What I’m looking for is a princess cut between 1-1.25 carats and between $4k-$6k. The setting will be a floating halo. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
I understand that buying online can be uncomfortable. But if you buy from a reputable company, it’s not risky at all – companies like Blue Nile or James Allen are hassle-free when returning the product. Also, you can get better value online (https://www.diamonds.pro/education/buy-diamonds-online/). Brick and mortar stores can’t compete with online vendors in terms of price.
All the diamonds you listed look amazing. Out of those three, I like the first one the most (Blue Nile LD10752064). However, there is no need to go that high with clarity and color. For halo settings, we recommend going with H+ colored diamonds as they look colorless when set (https://www.diamonds.pro/education/princess-cut/).
Have a look at these options you may like:

All these diamonds are well-cut, eye-clean and brilliant.
Thank you so much for your advice! Blue Nile LD11061133 diamond you recommended is what I selected to be placed in the setting. The link for princess cut education was also extremely helpful.
Thank you again for your help!
