Hi, I need help finding a square radiant cut diamond without the bow tie… I love the crushed ice look… and only have a budget of £1,600 -£2000. I don’t need it to have the top specs just eye clean and beautiful.
Pleaseee help I’m so confused with all these choices on Blue Nile (I’m from the UK).
What style setting (solitaire, pave/side stones/halo) and metal (yellow/white gold, platinum) do you want to use? This may affect the colors that I recommend for the center diamond (as we explain in our post on color).
I would like a platinum solitaire or a thin diamond band.
I looked around and I like these options for you:
Blue Nile LD09644210
Blue Nile LD00083441
They are well cut, eye-clean and either of them will be very brilliant.
What do you think?
I like the look of the second one better but it seems the girdle is very thick…shouldn’t I be worried about that? And the depth of the diamond looks like the diamond is flat, is that the video?
Very thick girdle is still fine. We recommend avoiding Extremely thick/thin ones.
I don’t think that the diamond is flat. The depth% is within the parameters we use to maximize brilliance. Also, the diamond will have more brilliance thanks to its higher crown.
Thank you. I really like that diamond but I need some time to save for the diamond setting.
