I know what type of ring I want to buy, but am having a hard time finding the best value for what I’m looking for. I have ~$10,000 budget and I want an emerald cut with a tapered baguette setting.
I prefer lab created, as I can get more for the money.
I found a couple lab diamonds on James Allen, could you take a look & let me know what you think?

Also, I’d love to get your opinion on lab vs. natural diamonds in general, along with which certifications you place value on vs. which ones you don’t.
I found two tapered baguette settings you might like:
14K White Gold Tapered Baguette Diamond Engagement Ring
14K White Gold Tapered Baguette Three Stone Diamond Engagement Ring
Both of the diamonds have nice specs, but I prefer the https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/emerald-cut/2.13-carat-f-color-vvs2-clarity-sku-9346186?a_aid=dmnd1357 because it’s showing less black windowing. It’s a great option, well done!
As for lab diamonds in general, you can read more on them in our articles: https://www.diamonds.pro/education/lab-diamonds/ / https://www.diamonds.pro/education/lab-created-diamond-certification-igi/
I purchased the diamond today.
