Hi, you have great articles on the site. Thanks for all your advice to newbies like myself!
I am looking to buy this diamond from JA.
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/asscher-cut/1.01-carat-d-color-vs1-clarity-sku-215870?a_aid=dmnd1357
My questions are:
It has medium blue fluorescence. Does it matter?
Would a 6 prong or 4 prong standard solitaire ring fits it better?
Thanks again for your advice
Yes, medium fluorescence matters. Never buy a colorless diamond with medium fluorescence.
This is a much better choice.
Thanks for your advice. The ring you recommended is probably out of my budget I’m afraid =(.
What about this one?

Thanks
That one is great.
Thanks for your advice.
…
I am now considering these:
I am torned between the two. I personally prefer the steps of the first one. I am just afraid that it might look too dark in real life. I know my girlfriend would prefer nice steps to sparkle.
Please advise!!!
I honestly think both will be fine. I do not think the D color will look very dark.
