Q&A: Choosing the Right 1 Ct. Round Diamond within the $6-8k Range

Hello sir! I’ve been following your site for quite some time and have gained a lot of useful knowledge in my process of buying a diamond. I’d like to now get your personal recommendation on a diamond if you have the time!

I’m looking for a 1ct round diamond preferably in a G or better color. My budget is in the $6-8k range, but I have the ability to flex for a particularly nice diamond worth the extra cost.. Here is a link of the setting I’m considering for the ring:

I’ve used the recommendations from your site to pick out a few diamonds, and was hoping to get your thoughts or possibly some additional recommendations if you see something better. In no particular order, these are the ones I’ve been considering:

I was talking with a rep from James Allen, and they said I can add another diamond for a comparison. Do you have a recommendation on another diamond to add, or should I stick with the first choice, in your opinion. Thanks for the help! 

 Just received word back from the gemologist at James Allen. He said that diamond is “an excellent option that offers great fantastic fire, brilliance, and scintillation. It appears completely eye clean and has a true “G” color.”
