First I would like to say thank you for your website. It is very much informative and saved me from going to Zales to shop.
I was wondering if you can give me some advice on the diamonds I am looking at on the James Allen website.
I am still deciding between a princess or a round diamond. But my Budget for both diamond and ring setting is max. $3000.
See links below. Thanks Again

Round Diamond# 1
Both of the princess cuts you selected are very nice. I’d suggest sticking with H+ for the center diamond if there are sidestones/accent diamonds. So I would go with the G.
I do not like the round diamond you selected. It’s not eye-clean. I would recommend this one for you:
The inclusion is on the edge and can be easily covered by a prong. What do you think?
Thank you for the great recommendations on the diamond. I was trying to surprise my fiancee but she did not like the ring I selected. Can you please help me select a good cushion diamond maximum price for $2000 for the ring setting below.
I hope it’s ok that the price is a bit over, but this is a beautiful diamond:
I would like to say Thank You for all your help in picking out a diamond with James Allen. My fiancee love the ring. It was perfect for her because she doesn’t like gaudy jewelery so the ring was perferct. You and James Allen made a difficult decision of what type of diamond and ring to buy a smooth process. My Budget was about $3000 for the ring setting and diamond. I ended paying $2900 total. The diamond you advised me to buy was an excellent choice. The customer rep. at James Allen told me that was the best cushion diamond available in my price range and he was actually surprised it was still available. James Allen appraised the ring for $4000. I brought the ring to my own appraiser. The appraiser was very impressed with the diamond and thought it was “G” until I told him the GIA certificate said “H”. He appraised the ring for a little above $4800.
Thank You again for making this process a lot easier than I expected.
Thanks for writing and letting us know. I’m delighted that you were pleased with our help. We wish you and your partner a life of happiness and fulfillment.
