Great articles!
What about diamond tennis bracelets? Should I take the size of each diamond and multiple by the number of diamonds in the bracelet to estimate price? I found a 2.5 carat bracelet here in Houston that looks comparable to ones on James Allen and Blue Nile for $2500 so I’m thinking of getting it here as long as they have a certificate.
Any thoughts? Thank you.
Bracelets don’t usually have certificates (sometimes IGI). The ones at JA don’t have them either. But because we know that their quality is very high, it’s safe to purchase that there.
If you don’t know the company in Houston and they don’t have any legit paperwork, then it’s a risk.
What about the price? Do I multiply the number of diamonds to get it? That’s kind of my original question. The place in Houston is supposedly reputable. Should I ask for a document with the bracelet?
The diamonds in them are very small and I’m unable to give you a price tag for each of them.
Bracelets like that usually cost more than 3k. Sometimes, when companies run sales, they can drop to ~$2,500 (14K WHITE GOLD DIAMOND TENNIS BRACELET (2.50 CTW.)).
If they have a certificate for the bracelet, then good. But if they don’t, I’d be surprised if they were willing to get one for you unless you pay for it.
Thank you, I appreciate the help.
My pleasure.
