Hi, I am looking for a round diamond of around 0.6 carats for a white gold floral halo ring with a budget of around US$2,200, is this possible?
Here are my suggestions of floral settings:
Floral Halo Diamond Engagement Ring
Truly Zac Posen Floral Halo Diamond Engagement Ring
Here’s a stone with the quality I’d recommend:
And here’s a slightly smaller stone within the budget you mentioned:
They are both very well cut, eye-clean and going to look colorless.

What do you think?
Thank you so much for your email. I really like the first setting you have suggested.
Unfortunately, I have realized that I forgot to take into account taxes when setting my budget 😞 I will, therefore, need to be looking at a budget of around US$1,200.00 for the diamond.
I am also hoping for a slightly larger diamond (0.5 carat +), primarily because my hands are quite large and I am concerned that a smaller ring would not suit me. I realize this means I would need to sacrifice on the quality of the diamond. Could you please advise what my best options would be for this price and size?
I am finding it particularly hard to know how inclusions will look in real life. I have never noticed any imperfections in diamonds worn by other people, but I do notice that some seem to sparkle more.
Do you think the inclusions on this one would be too obvious in real life:
Thank you again for taking the time to help me.
I checked the stone you found and it seems to be eye-clean. Twinning wisps are usually not visible to the naked eye.
I also found this one:
The feather in the edge can be covered with a prong so it will be eye-clean. And when you check the measurements, this stone is bigger than the other two.
Let me know what you decide, please.
I have ordered the ring with the diamond you suggested in your most recent email.
Thank you again for all your help, I am very excited to receive my ring – it will be my first ever diamond!
That’s fantastic news!
It was my pleasure helping you.
