I am looking for a 1 carat solitaire in white gold. I have read your site and find it very helpful but there still seems to be too many options when it comes to selecting a particular diamond from the various online sellers.

These both look good. I notice the one has no fluorescence and the other has faint fluorescence. What is fluorescence and is it good or bad?

There’s almost no difference between none and faint fluorescence. And it won’t have any impact on the stones.
