I’m on the hunt for the best $8k 1.50 carat cushion cut diamond to go on this setting:
14K Rose Gold Petite Pavé Crown Diamond Engagement Ring
These were a few I was looking at. But I trust your judgment.
1) The first diamond is IGI certified which is a big NO-NO. They aren’t a reliable lab. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/igi/
2) The second one has strong fluorescence on a very high color which usually causes a hazy/milky look in daylight. I only recommend none/faint/medium for an H color cushion and none/faint fluorescence for G+ cushions.

So the two options are virtually the same price. Which would you go with?
They are VERY similar. I like the larger table on the H/VS1 diamond (it makes the whole diamond appear a tad bigger), but the G/VS2 has its charm as well. Go with your gut. You can’t go wrong here (that’s the best scenario).
