Hi,
I’m looking to buy engagement ring and was hoping to get your advice. I’d like to get a ring that is simple but has a little uniqueness to it. I like the 14K White Gold Nouveau Engagement Ring at James Allen, for example. I would like to have a round diamond and about .8 – 1 carat if the budget of $3-4k permits. Can you help me find a diamond and do you have any suggestions on other rings?

May I ask if the $3-4k is your budget for the whole ring or for the center diamond only?
For the diamond’s budget, I would like to stay within $4,000. However, if the value was there and there was a material difference to the eye, I could stretch to ~$4,200k. I would be happy if i could get something around .9 ct in that price range.

This one is a bit too shallow and strong fluorescence might make it look hazy in daylight.
