Hello, I am hoping to get an oval diamond in a rose gold French pave setting for an engagement ring, with budget $15k-$20k, and wondering what my options are. I know my girlfriend would love something around 2 carats but am not sure what is realistic at that price range.
Would love your advice or suggestions!
I found these settings for you:
French Pavé Diamond Engagement Ring
Riviera Cathedral Pavé Diamond Engagement Ring
14K ROSE GOLD 0.32CT FRENCH CUT PAVE DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING
As for the diamonds, here are some beautiful options:

After seeing these, I am wondering – is the French pave going to show more, or less, of the metal? I think I prefer less metal but these settings seemed to show more.
I think I have settled on this setting:
French Pavé Diamond Engagement Ring
Also, for comparison, how much more would it cost to get over 2 carats?
The French pave is designed in the way so that the metal around the melee diamonds doesn’t block the light refraction. Those settings should show less of the metal.
Here is an example of a heavier stone: Blue Nile LD12657659. But if you compare the actual measurements, this stone is bigger Blue Nile LD12951762.
I love the second link! Thanks!
My pleasure.
