I have a great oval halo setting. just need an oval diamond.
I want the diamond to be as colorless as possible. My budget is around $15K. I found the diamond below from Blue Nile but can’t tell where the inclusion is. Can you assist?
Any assistance is much appreciated!
There’s one microscopic inclusion on the edge, but it’s not visible, not even on the zoomed video. That diamond is perfectly eye-clean and has fantastic specs. Nice find!
I am comparing this with another I see on James Allen with less cost (fairly similar except a few items)… Can you tell me which is a better value?

I like the one from Blue Nile better. It has a more subtle bow-tie and nicer shape.
Here’s another diamond I saw on James Allen.

By the way, James Allen doesn’t measure cut on anything but a round diamond. What other feature is its equivalent for brilliance and shine?
GIA gives cut grades only to rounds. If you see a cut grade to any other shape, it’s just a mark of that jeweler (diamond company) and it’s completely subjective. We use our own parameters to maximize brilliance: depth under 74% and table% under 75. The ideal L:W ratio is between 1.35 and 1.45.

Another beautiful diamond.
Thanks!
