Hi,
I was reading your article regarding pear-shaped diamonds. I see where you have listed the parameters for a cushion cut in this article but not for a pear. Can you please inform me of the parameters I should be looking for with a pear-shaped diamond?
Thank you very much for your time.
For pear shapes, we like to keep the depth% below 74 and the table % below 75.
Also, having a real picture/video of the diamond is crucial as you need to see how the bow-tie looks like.
I’m happy to recommend some diamonds to you if you like.
If you do not mind recommending some pear-shaped diamonds, that would be great.
Can you just tell me your ballpark budget for the diamond?
Between 5 and 7 thousand and a 1.5 carat.
Thank you for the info.
I looked around and these are the largest options I can recommend:

Blue Nile LD09463121
They are well cut, eye-clean and have a minimal bow-tie. All of them will be very brilliant.
Is there a big difference between a 1.5 carat?
It might be if you put the two of them side by side. In reality, nobody usually knows what a 1.5ct is supposed to look like.
Thanks!
