Hello!
I am in need of an engagement ring! have a total budget of up too $3,500 but would prefer to stay around $3,000. My end ring is a 14k white gold, halo set, with a princess cut.
I have picked the setting already and the wedding band that will go with it. I just need the diamond to be eye clean. If it takes a scope to see it, I’m not concerned!

Are these eye-clean? Will you be able to see these diamonds in this much detail in person? Or is this view as looking through a magnifying device?
Both these diamonds are eye-clean. I like the 0.77ct one more because it has a better cut. Regarding the table %, we usually recommend staying in the range of 69-75% to get the best brilliance possible.
However, for halo settings, I would suggest sticking with H+ colored diamonds to avoid any yellowish hue (https://www.diamonds.pro/education/color/).
Ah nice catch I missed the H+ reading. I have probably spent around 10+ hours so far looking at diamonds and reading all your websites material lol. It is all really helpful! Thank you so much for the help and I like the original diamonds you recommended. Yet with my personality I have still been looking at some other diamonds just to get the best deal I can.
Here are two I have also found after making sure they are H+, just need to know if they are eye clean. I like that their symmetry is excellent over VG. Maybe that is not as important?
Regarding the new two diamonds you sent, I like the 0.71ct H stone more. I’m not a big fan of the inclusions in case of the 0.70ct G diamond (when you turn the stone, you’ll see the feather and some crystals and they might be visible to the naked eye).
How about this one? I am now trying to stay below .7ct.
I like that stone. It has an inclusion in the middle (you’ll notice it when you turn the diamond) but I don’t think it would be visible.
