In this case, I took a look at the stone you recommended, but I don’t think it is suitable. Nothing wrong with it, but I am willing to spend more, so if I am going down in the color /clarity scale, I might as well go up in size, cut, etc.
To put the question another way, can you recommend a stone around $2 – 2,500?
I am looking for something under 3/4 carat to go on a size 4, platinum, Tiffany style, six prong ring.
I have explored Brian Gavin’s site, James Allen, and Blue Nile, and all seem to have nice rings, so I’d be happy with any of them. After reading your article on florescence, I was tempted by BG’s blue range, but I’m too much of a neophyte to pull the trigger without guidance. (I prefer cooler / whiter colors, but my girlfriend is Chinese, so I don’t know whether there is an issue with her skin tone.)
Overall, size is not a major issue, and I’m not obsessed with specs. I just want something sparkly enough to make a girl happy.
Anyway, I’ll stop rambling here. I hope that is enough info. I am happy to buy through your website if that helps your affiliate program.
