Q&A: “I just wanted to say thank you.”

I just wanted to say thank you. I also want to make a small charitable donation to the charity of your choice (or if you prefer I can just give you the money directly via paypal) for all your ridiculously amazing free info you provided me. I sent you an email earlier today (where I noted I was in a time crunch, the girl was from argentina, etc).

It seems almost too good to be true but I think I found the perfect diamond for my budget (I actually spent about $1000 less than I expected) based on all the awesome info you provided.

Its GIA, excellent cut, j color, vs2 (BONUS! I would have taken a s2 with no visible inclusions to the naked eye) with medium florescent for $4k. I read your guide today before I went diamond shopping and it made a world of difference. I also discovered flourscence thanks to you. And I loveeeee it under the black light. I think its super cool (and a nice “secret” between myself and my hopeful wife) and unique, which is super important to me.

I had about 3 days to buy a diamond with ZERO prior experience. The first 2 days were spent going from one retail place to the next with some info gathered before hand from the internet but basically I did not realize how little informed I was until I read your diamond buying guide this morning. I was quoted $1-$2k more for features that I didn’t really realize that I didnt need until I read your guide.

In addition, thanks to your recommendation for fluorescence I discovered an awesome characteristic and a fantastic way to save some additional bucks (since most people are scared off by florescence even at the H-J range).

I also went with .9 instead of 1 because the price difference seems to be substantial even though almost no one will be able to tell (!!!) its less than 1 when its set on the ring.

I can’t imagine getting a better bang for my buck short of knowing a supplier directly. And all thanks to you. I am assuming of course I didn’t buy a dud with something that I missed. If so, please let me know so I can return to James Allen.

If it looks ok to you, please let me know what charity you would like to donation to or if you prefer I just send you the money via paypal. Its the least I can do. Even if you think I should return it for whatever reason (it actually wont ship till Monday), I still want to do the charity or give the money to you directly because your guide has been invaluable to me and made this whole confusing process 1000x easier.
