Hoping for some assistance! My girlfriend has only 1 ring design that she wants, and its from a mall store (ugh). We’ve looked at dozens of “similar” settings, but it always comes back to the mall one. The center stones there are terrible, and not remotely eye clean or sparkly (her words). But, the setting is gorgeous.
I’ve been in contact with some local jewelers, and they can’t seem to find the same setting to sell me directly, so I’m probably buying the setting from the store, and the stone from James Allen. I’ll have a local jeweler combine the two.
I need a round cut, .75ct diamond. The lady loves things that sparkle, so an Ideal cut or higher (H&A, etc.) is what I’m looking for. Must be very eye clean. $2,000-$3,100 budget. I’m definitely afraid of J colors, as neither of us are fans of “warm” toned diamonds, and all of the setting stones are H or I.
Here’s the setting:

Here’s 2 diamonds I’ve found so far:

Help??
Thanks!
I recommend this one for you:
It’s bright, eye-clean and a great value. What do you think?
