Thanks for all the great info on your site. I’ve been looking through the 3 websites that you recommended. Looking for a round diamond in the 1.2 to 1.5 range with an ideal or better cut. Can’t decide between a 1.25 -ish H hearts and arrows or a 1.5 J Ideal/ very good Or somewhere in between. I can spend 10k.
I’m sorry for the delay responding. I was away for the long weekend. If you are still interested in our help, let me know and I will get to your email in the next day or so.
thanks for getting back to me. I am very interested in your help.
In addition to the diamond – I’m also interested in the setting. I’ve been looking at a platinum pave setting. But I’m also reading that platiunum should have an H color or better. So If i find a great looking I or J diamond – should I be concerned about the platinum setting?
…….
I was reading on your site that if a buy a pave setting I should buy an H+ diamond.
For my knowledge – how big of an issue is the clarity here? I’m assuming this is not eye clean?
Is an upgrade in cut worth downsizing the carat?
Or is going down to a ‘very good cut’ a better option?
alright – thanks again for any help

Last e-mail of the day, Mike. I promise 🙂
What about this diamond
With one of these settings:
Have a good night
It’s not the platinum, it’s the pave/sidestones that force you to bump up in color. I love the 1.21 and 1.30ct. Personally I’d go with the bigger one.
I went with the 1.3. It’s supposed to show up tomorrow
Sounds great. Keep me posted.
