I am in the market for an emerald cut diamond engagement ring. I have a budget of up to $10k and I think I would like to be around 1.5ct +/-. After revioewing the JA website I find myself coming back to a diamond that is a bit less budgeted and is 1.35ct. https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/emerald-cut/1.35-carat-h-color-vs1-clarity-sku-196549?a_aid=dmnd1357 I find this diamond interesting because it’s LxW dimensions are equivialnt if not bigger than most of the 1.5ct dimonds and it is priced a bit less. Is there somethig wrong with this diamond? Am I missing something?
