Hello, I recently found this site through searching on the internet. I am very impressed with all of the information. I am planning on proposing soon and doing some research on what to purchase. A couple of questions, and I really appreciate your input….
I am drawn to asscher cut. I really think my gf will love it. I have a budget of about 5500, looking for something between .80-1 ct. I recently went to a couple of jewelers and was overwhelmed. Due to all the positive feedback from your site, I checked out James Allen. Although I can’t physically see the diamond, I feel a little more at ease using their site.
My main concern is the color grading. I have been looking for D,E, or F. But after reading a lot on your site, it seems I shouldn’t really be concerned purchasing in the G or lower range without going below J. I want to buy her the best I can afford and not sure what to purchase. Is the difference between a .83 and 1 ct that much of a noticeable difference?
