I’m interested in buying a diamond engagement ring and was wondering if you could help. In terms of what I’m looking for:
– Cushion Cut (or Round, but to be placed in a square thin halo)
– Circa 2 Carat
– Good quality cut (very good / ideal ?)
– Color – G / H / I ?
– Clarity – VS2 to SI2 ?
Idea is to pay for something good but not put money into something that is not noticeable or visible to naked eye for aspects like clarity/Color. Rather put the money toward increasing the carat while maintaining the quality of the diamond in terms of appearance to the naked eye. $$ is certainly a factor, so looking for best value in terms of color/clarity etc.
I’m not in a major hurry, and able to wait to get the right diamond at good value, but also ready to buy.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks for your time in advance.
I apologize for the delay. I was out for a long weekend. Do you still want our help? Thanks for your patience.
Hi there, yes I’m still interested. I see you tend to go with James Allen so I have included a few options below. I’m trying to get something like the attached. Are any of these good / bad?
I have not been able to find a setting like the attached yet online, but I have seen one in a jeweler in NYC, so I want to see if I have online option.
Thanks
This is the one I’d go with:
The cut on the 2.13 is okay, but it doesn’t look eye-clean.
