I’m looking to buy a 2ct round brilliant diamond for an engagement ring. I’m currently looking at ideal/excellent cut, F or G color, and SI2 clarity (provided that it is eye-clean). Do you have any recommendations?
I ran some searches on James Allen and found these two:

Will those be eye clean? Any other suggestions?
I’d appreciate any advice you can provide.
That F SI1 is a great diamond. I don’t like that G but I love this one:

It’s eye-clean and a great value.
Thanks for your response and advice. It looks like the G you sent me is now on hold. Is there another you can recommend?
Is there a E or F you would recommend over the F I found below? Also, do you think it’s worth it for me to spend the extra on the F that I found versus the G?
Thanks again for your help on this.
I would say go with the F. Its the best one I saw there. The best G color I see now is not cheaper than the F you selected, so stick with that one.
Out of curiosity, how does a G diamond end up being the same price as a F? Is the because the clarity is higher or are there other factors?
It has to do with the clarity and the fact that different vendors to JA have different prices. If one vendor prices 1-2% cheaper than average, and one charges 1-2% more, it can easily cover the difference between an F and G.
