Big fan of your site as I’ve been searching for a ring for my future Fiance for a while now. Was looking at this diamond on james allen and it looks great and but will i notice the K color on a white gold setting? It’s also a good cut but I’m surprised how much better it looks than anyones I’ve seen on the site so far……and the price is right. What do you think? Thanks for the help.

I would not recommend that diamond at all. The cut is terrible on it. Not only will it have very little brilliance, but it will look much smaller due to the 65% depth (way out of range). I would recommend one of these over that.

The diameter is far more important than the weight. Because of the poor cut, the 1ct is about the same size as the 0.90ct. But the 0.90 will be far more brilliant due to the better cut.
