This diamond has a nice cut, but unfortunately, the “Clarity grade based on clouds not shown.” note in the certificate is a big problem. It means there is a very large cloud that covers a large percentage of the diamond and saps the brilliance from it. You should never buy an SI diamond with this note.

Would you then be able to find a better option? As previously noted my budget is around $3,000-$3,500 (can push up to $3,800 if required) for diamond-only. I am looking for a diamond that is eye-clean with great brilliance (aligned with your view on diamonds I asssume).

I found these two options. Both are eye-clean and have a nice cut. Either of them would make a beautiful ring.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on the diamond purchase, however would just like to ask if you would you also have a recommendation for a diamond at the $4,000 range? I might be able to strech the budget.
