Hi there!
Hope you’re well! I wanted to drop you a note to ask for some help if at all possible… I’ve been amazed by the extent of the information available on your website, and as I’m in the market for a round diamond (for an engagement ring!) I wanted to reach out in case you might be able to offer some advice and help finding the right one.
I’m still trying to get my head around precise budget, but was thinking of starting by seeing what was available in the $10-$15k range and going from there.
In terms of setting, I’m thinking of probably a 6 pronged solitaire ring, in white gold.

Here are my diamond recommendations:
Blue Nile LD12122386
Blue Nile LD12076941
They’re well-cut, eye-clean and brilliant.
Not sure if this is a product of the photography more than anything else, but they definitely look quite yellow…
This is caused by the lighting scenario. To the majority of people, J color looks colorless when set in a solitaire setting. If you want to get an I+ colored diamond, it’s possible it would be a bit smaller than 2ct.
Great – thanks very much. All makes sense. Just to confirm – would you say these stones you recommended below are “superbly” cut?
Yes, the diamonds I suggested are perfectly cut and they are of a quality we recommend. They would be very bright and brilliant.
I am thinking to go ahead with Blue Nile LD12076941.
Thanks again for all your help!
My pleasure.
