Thanks so much for your website-it is outstanding. My boyfriend and I have been looking at rings and diamonds and need guidance. The setting we are looking to purchase is Coast Diamond LC 5257 in 14k white gold which is a cushion halo setting that holds a round center stone. The diamonds on the setting have a total weight of 0.78 ct. and are G-H clarity, VS2 to SI2. Ideally we would love to be able to afford 1 carat but have been looking at 0.9 for good value in close to a carat. Am wondering if you can find us any GIA stones in 1 ct. or close to it that would be a good value for this setting but still give us a fabulous looking center stone. Preferably under 5k if that’s even possible. We would like an excellent cut but are open to any and all suggestions. OR if you think better to go smaller than 1ct is better, we’d like to know that too. Thanks so much,
