Hello, I read that you are willing to help people find the best possible diamond. I’m looking to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend with an overall budget of about $2000. I’ve had a few conversations with her and I know that she prefers a princess cut diamond. She also doesn’t like big diamonds. Her sister has a 1c diamond ring and my girlfriend thinks it’s way too big. Because of this I was thinking that perhaps a diamond the size of .30-.50c would be best. The diamond is her birthstone and I would really like to get her the best possible diamond I can within reason. Can you help me out?

I like that diamond, but I was talking to the girlfriend today and she told me that 1/2c is big and her preference is for 1/4 or 1/3 carat. Do you see any good ones at that size?
