Hello,
I am looking for an engagement ring and have read most of the recommendations on your site. I still would appreciate your input on if there is a better diamond for my money. My budget is $5,000-$5,500 for the diamond. After reading your site and making some search adjustments, I came up with this one:

Please tell me if there are better options.
I wouldn’t recommend the diamond you found (Blue Nile LD12356689). This diamond is deeply cut. 63.8% depth means that most of the diamond’s weight is in its depth, not at the top which leads to a smaller diamond and the light won’t refract as it should.
I would recommend these diamonds instead:
