Just interested in advice and help! Getting the right diamond is a bit overwhelming. Have an idea of what I’m looking for in the setting and stone shape but just not sure what would be a good diamond.
I think I’m looking for a round cut diamond in a simple but not too simple white gold setting. Something eye clean. Trying to keep the total between $4k to $6k but would be willing to go a little more for a phenominal diamond with setting because I love my girlfriend!
It’d be a good idea to pick out the setting you want and then work on the center stone.
Can you browse these links and let me know if there’s anything that has caught your eye?

For setting I think I really like
14K White Gold Tapered Bead Set Diamond Engagement Ring By Martin Flyer
I believe my future fiancé would like it too.
I, personally, think that this setting is absolutely gorgeous.
I found these two lovely diamond options:

They have a beautiful cut and would be very brilliant in real life. They are eye-clean and have fantastic overall specs.
I think the .94 is the way to go! What are your thoughts… Is it worth throwing another couple hundred at another diamond – will it make a difference? I do feel like the .94 is already good but if a couple $$$ would make it more noticable let me know. Otherwise I think you got the combo!
Do you agree there really isn’t much of a difference between Color I and Color H that it’s not worth the extra bucks??
The 0.94ct is a fantastic option – you’d be getting the size of a 1ct without paying extra $$$ for the actual 1ct mark. I searched in a higher price bracket and didn’t find anything significantly better. That one is perfect.
Color-wise, the small diamonds in your ring are H/I. I-color center stone will look absolutely colorless, there’s no reason to go higher than that (and get the same look to the naked eye with a significant price difference).
Perfect! So is now the next step to place the order?
The next step is to put it on hold/buy it before somebody else gets to it! 🙂 Good diamonds get sold pretty quickly.
Did it!
Thank you so much for the help!!! Probably would have screwed it up without you!
That’s fantastic news! I’m glad I could help you, you got yourself a wonderful diamond.
