Hi there,
I’m looking to buy a diamond ring. It will be mounted on the 14K White Gold Marquise Shape Three Stone Ring. My budget for the diamond alone is around 4,000 CAD. I’m ok with lower ct weight 0.8 or 0.9 for a better stone.
I chose this stone that I’m asking you to review but I’m open to other suggestions. Thank you.
The diamond that you found through Ringo looks good. I agree with going with an I color for that setting.
I found one more that I want you to see:
It’s better cut and it looks gorgeous.
You can’t go wrong with either diamond, though.
Thank you very much for your help and recommendation. I ended up placing an order for the stone you recommended – SKU 9612253.
…
Just a final request please.
I have a “hold” on the stone below that expires tonight.

I know is more expensive than your recommendation/more Ct weight too, but would be this a good choice? All the other parameters are “excellent”. And of course, I wouldn’t mind a bigger stone 🙂
No, it’s graded by IGI which isn’t a reliable lab (https://www.diamonds.pro/education/igi/). They are not as strict in grading, so you could end up with a diamond that’s lower in color or clarity than it states in the cert.
The one you purchased seems like the best option. Plus, the size difference wouldn’t be noticeable.
Thanks again for your advice!
