Hi,
Thanks for your informative articles on diamonds and making purchases online. I would love to take you up on a free recommendation.
My maximum budget for a loose stone is $4,200. The setting I have picked out is a yellow gold bezel setting pictured here: http://annesportun.com/products/the-louisa-ring . I understand that since I will be using a yellow gold bezel setting that I will be able to lean towards diamonds that are lower on the color scale, I imagine the same can be said for clarity given the bezel setting. That being said I have examined a fair amount of loose stones and I seem to have an eye for clarity. It is very important that there not be any visible inclusions at all in the stone.
Please let me know if you need additional details.
Thanks so much for your help.
…
As for price I would love to keep it under $3700 but if I can find a great diamond at $4200 or less it would be great.
Also, I would like a stone that is at least 0.75 cts with my preference of course being to go bigger if possible.
Thanks!
What do you think of this diamond?
Its bright, eye-clean and a great value. What do you think?
That looks gorgeous, I can’t believe that is rated as an SI1, it looks much clearer than that, don’t you think? I am fairly certain that this will be the diamond I am going to go with, it is everything I’m looking for: great clarity, color grade is fine since it will be in a gold bezel setting, the cut looks very good and the size is slightly bigger than I was expecting to be able to afford. Thanks for your help.
My pleasure. Please let me know how it looks when it arrives.
