Hello!
I am looking at the engagement ring in the link below from James Allen. It will be a round diamond in a yellow gold setting. I have about $7,000 to spend on the diamond itself and would like something in the 1.1 – 1.25 carat range, but the aesthetics are more important. Can you point me in the right direction?

Both of those look good. They are slightly yellow, but in a yellow gold ring I assume they would not appear so?
You don’t base the color choice on the pictures on the website, there’re various factors that can affect how the diamond looks (especially the lightning in the room where the video was recorded). All you need is the cert (GIA or AGS only). Based on our expertise, experiences and most importantly, the feedback from our readers, I color looks absolutely colorless in a side stone setting. Any potential yellowness would be from the color of the metal, not from within the diamond.
