Hi
I am interested in a bezel set ring, so likely a round brilliant cut or similar. Thinking maybe a fancy yellow in a vintage / deck setting or a traditional white diamond. Would like to get 1ct+ stone. Budget tops out at $6k.
ellow diamonds of 1ct+ run for more than 6k (the diamond only). If 6k is your top, I recommend sticking with a white diamond.
You could even get a 1.20ct diamond for that price:

It’s eye-clean (there is a feather on the side that could be covered with a prong from the most part and the rest would become unnoticeable), it’s well cut and will look very bright and brilliant.
What do you think?
Yes, I did some research on fancy yellow and they are at a premium it seems.
Maybe a few changes on the diamond, I’d like to get something more vintage, and was thinking about a cushion cut in a vintage type setting (maybe a halo?)
The key is eye clean.
LMK what you think on a cushion cut at 1 to 1.25ct
Alright. How about something like this?
