Hi,
I am looking for some help picking out an oval diamond to put into a rose gold setting. I have read a lot of information on your website and others about the bow tie effect. It is a major concern of mine when picking out an oval diamond.
I found some oval diamonds listed below on James Allen that seem to minimize the bow tie effect, but I am not really sure.

My budget is around $4250.
The stones you picked are great in terms of bow-tie. Just the SI diamond is not eye-clean.
This diamond is my favorite:

I like the overall specifications, there’s no bow-tie, it is eye-clean.
I also found this diamond:

It’s less elongated and slightly less expensive.
Let me know what you decide.
Thanks for all of the information! I also thought the G colored diamond was the best. Is there any concern with having the girdle that thick?
As for the girdle, it’s is an issue that has little to no impact on the visual appearance of the diamond. I checked both and the stones are very nice, I don’t see a reason to worry about that.
An H color stone is also going to look colorless. I wouldn’t go lower with the grade, but H is still perfect. You can read more here:

Someone did end up buying the diamond I was looking at. I was wondering if you could evaluate this diamond for me!
Yes, the stone you picked is beautiful with great overall specs.
I also found this slightly smaller and less expensive:

or this more elongated shape:

I am sorry to be a needy shopper but you can you evaluate one more diamond for me.

This diamond is also absolutely beautiful. At the same time, I found another stone on JA at the moment.

It’s slightly bigger in measurements and less expensive.
I purchased the last diamond I sent you (SKU 4387498). I want to thank you for all of your help.
