Q&A: Looking for at Least 1.25 Cts. Round Cut

Hi there. I’m seeking your help in finding the best value for an ideal or excellent cut, eye clean, H color round diamond. My budget is around $ 7000 or slightly above. I plan to have it set on an antique style pave cathedral setting (of which I have not yet chosen) and desire something around 1.25 carats or larger without sacrificing appearance. I really wanted to see if I could stretch my budget and get up to a 1.5 carat round stone, but again, at the same time, I do not want to compromise the look of the stone to the naked eye. Accordingly, I may have to go with a smaller diamond. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have.
