Hi, The Diamond Pro Team,
Thanks so much for the work you put into the site. I’ve learned so much since coming here, and it’s really caused me to slow down and look deeper at my purchase. I especially appreciate the pages on specific cuts. After reading through all of that, however, I still feel a bit lost. Thus, I have two queries for you:
1) Can you help me find the best princess cut diamond?
2) Do you have any recommendations for settings that would compliment a princess cut? I like the following but am not married to it. Ha.
A few notes:
– Prefer platinum to white gold, but not at any cost
– Total budget (stone + setting): under $7500

I really like the first one. The cut is phenomenal on it, and you get the added bonus of the color. I think it’s a great value and will look great in that setting.

1. Both diamonds look great, though should I be concerned about how the second would look in a Pave setting?

The color is absolutely fine on both of those diamonds. I think you are going too high in color with your selections.
