I have really learned a lot in the past few weeks from your site. I have been looking at jamesallen a great deal as well and have been trying to decide what the best diamond to get is. I was hoping to keep the total price below 11K for a oval or round diamond on a solitary platinum band. Any direction you point me in would be greatly appreciated.

I love that H SI1. Normally we don’t recommend I color for oval cuts, but that one seems to face up pretty white. What do you think?
Thanks so much for your time. I actually had looked at the I oval you suggested previously and thought it looked pretty white as well, my only concern was it being on a platinum solitary setting. And thanks for the H suggestion, I hadn’t seen that one yet, and the inclusions look pretty minimal.
The H is perfectly fine. If you are getting a solitaire setting from JA, you can give the I a shot. Worst case, you return it (free returns) and get the H.
Do you mind telling me what you think about this one? I didn’t know if the bowtie effect would be very prominent?

I finally put one on hold and was hoping you could take one quick look to see what you think. My girlfriend decided on this setting
