I’m trying to figure out what would be the best/most beautiful diamond for a loose round diamond, GIA certified with a 5.5K budget. Does it make more sense to go F-D color and Very Good cut, or something like Excellent cut and G-H range? Also, what else do I need to consider? I don’t mind SI1 if it’s eye clean, and based on color, if I end up with a near colorless, do I still need to choose a florescence of faint or none? Help! Thanks. I have looked on James Allen, Blue Nile, B2C Jewels, and Enchanted Diamonds, among others.
I should also tell you that I plan on purchasing a platinum pave setting so I know that needs to be taken into consideration. I really appreciate your help. Ideally my budget for the loose diamond is 5.5k but I’m willing to go up to 6 if it really helps.
Thanks again!
You should try to stick with I+ on the center stone with that type of setting.
I really like that first diamond. What do you think?
