I’m looking at some rings on James Allen, I’ve posted my comparison chart below. I’m hoping to get close to a carat with a budget of about $6000. There is a carat H VS1 Very Good vs .9 VVS2 Excellent – please see the link below and let me know what you think.
Are you open to changing your clarity parameters. I would be happy to pick out a nice SI1 that will look identical to a VS1. As we write in our clarity column, Si offers far better value. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/clarity/
I just want to make sure we are on the same page.
The lower clarity scares me a little bit but I am open to suggestions. I’m looking for a high quality round diamond with a budget of $5800. I’d like to stick with an excellent cut.
These two diamonds are absolutely eye-clean:

There is no reason to be concerned with the clarity and it’s just not worth spending more. Personally I would go with the first one because the medium fluorescence will brighten it up a bit and I prefer a 57 table over a 56. But both are excellent choices.
What do you think?
They look good, what do you think of sku:217045? Is .9 vs 1carat much difference ?
It’s nice and there is a slight noticeable difference in size. But I wouldn’t spend 20% more for it if I were you.
