Q&A: Looking for Round Cut for Pt Pave Setting

First off, thank you for putting together such a great website. It’s been a fantastic resource in my search to find the perfect engagement ring.

Now I’m ready to chose my diamond but need to know I’m getting the best diamond for my money, so that’s why I’m reaching out to you.

Here’s my criteria:

Shape: round
Budget: 4.5-5.5k diamond only (fairly flexible on budget)
Color: Don’t want to pay for anything I won’t notice, (you seem to recommend no higher than H)
Clarity: I want it to be eye clean, don’t want to pay for anything I won’t notice…
Cut: Whatever you recommend, you’re the expert
Carat: 0.9-1.1

I’m sure you get this a lot but all I’m really looking for is the best value within my budget. I don’t want to pay for anything I won’t notice and I want to feel like I made the best purchase possible.
